The Oasis Hotel
stands on the slope of a hill near  Scaleta by the eastern edge of the bay of Rethymnon on the island of Crete.
It covers 18 double bedrooms, 3 apartments, 6 studios and 4 holiday suites. The new swimming pool was completed in 2002.
The facility also has a dining-room and a bar.

Scaleta
is the easternmost of the villages along the bay of Rethymnon. It lies above the National Road which here runs some 200 meters South of the coast.
On both sides of the National Road and further down to the beach there are one bigger and several smaller hotels. Between them there are restaurants, bars, discotheques, supermarkets and other shops, and on the beach there are several beach bars.
